In strict compliance of Japan's Personal Information Protection Act, Sanko Techno Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "Sanko Techno") attaches great importance on personal information protection, and in order to appropriately protect such information, it strictly observes its own policies formulated on this matter as well as personal information protection rules stipulated by law, and operational manuals on safe business practices. The Company is committed to the appropriate and safe handling of personal information.
1. Collection and use of personal information
Within the scope of its business activities, Sanko Techno uses appropriate methods to collect personal information for clearly defined purposes.
Sanko Techno uses personal information correctly and within the limits necessary for the achievement of its business objectives. Personal information is not used for purposes other than those specified without prior consent of the person or persons concerned.
2. Disclosure, revision, and deletion of personal information
When a request is received from a person concerned or his legally authorized representative regarding such matters as disclosure, revision, or deletion of personal information, Sanko Techno will, upon verification of the identity of the said person, promptly respond to the request within the reasonable span of time as specified by law.
3. Management of personal information
Sanko Techno has designated an employee with the responsibility of managing personal information. In this way, it makes sure that personal information is not improperly used internally. Moreover, with regard to the risks of improper external access and loss, destruction, falsification, leakage and otherwise misuse of personal information, the Company has implemented appropriate and reasonable safety measures to protect personal data both in the technical and organizational fields.
To the fullest extent possible, Sanko Techno strives to maintain and update the personal information that it stores accurately.
Sanko Techno ensures that all of its employees understand the importance of protecting personal information. To make sure that the personal information policy is steadily implemented, Sanko Techno conducts periodic study and training sessions. And it is an ongoing process.
Sanko Techno jointly manages personal information with third parties, and outsources data processing and other works involving personal information to subcontractors. Sanko Techno selects only such subcontractors that ensure high level of personal data protection. Contracts and other agreements stipulate details regarding personal information protection requirements, and at the same time, appropriate management practices are implemented towards that end.
Sanko Techno will not disclose or provide information to third parties other than those involved in joint data management and subcontracting operations as described in the section above. Any personal data without consent of that person is not be divulged. However, information may be disclosed or provided, in a lawful and fair manner, with or without the consent of the person, when disclosure is made in such a way that the person cannot be identified, and when it is legally required, or required by public institutions, such as a court or the police.
4. Reevaluation of personal information protection policy
Sanko Techno will review this policy in accordance with the prevailing circumstances and revise it as needed. Changes will be publicized in a reasonable manner.
